The hotel, launched by Gordon Campbell Gray in 2003, is part of CampbellGray Hotels, a small collection of exquisite, individual hotels including One Aldwych and Dukes in London and Le Gray, Beirut opening in 2009.
Carlisle Bay is an all suite hotel offering a total of 82 suites ranging in size from 72-150sqm, all with individual sitting areas. One defining difference is that every suite offers ocean views from a private balcony or terrace coupled with a comfortable day bed and dining area so our guests can maximize their enjoyment of the outdoors. All suites feature WIFI, individually controlled air-conditioning & ceiling fans, fresh fruit daily, fully stocked mini-bar, satellite television, working desk, espresso & tea makers, twice daily maid service, in-room safe, express overnight laundry service, hairdryers, 24 hour room service, DVD player/CD Player, bathrobes & slippers and an array of natural REN bath amenities in keeping with the CampbellGray commitment to the environment.
The Carlisle Room, located away from the main hotel with views across the luscious rainforested hills, is a stunning contemporary air-conditioned space with lots of natural daylight, perfect for smaller meetings and events. Capacities are 26 pax boardroom style, 40 pax theatre style and 20 pax for U-shape. An alternative to The Carlisle Room is the stylish 45 seat Screening Room which is ideal for theatre style meetings, presentations and private screenings.
East (offering a fusion of Japanese, Thai & Vietnamese cuisine) and Indigo on the Beach (an informal venue featuring light & healthy grill options) are the two main restaurants within the resort. Unique dining options are also available for groups including Coconut Grove, The Pavilion, Upper Indigo, Poolside and Beach BBQ’s. Capacities vary up to 160 pax.
Carlisle Bay is available for exclusive use bookings. Key months to consider for exclusivity are May, June, July, August, October, November and the first half of December.
With a variety of group water sports and team building activities available, such as boat trips and island adventures, a 17000 square foot spa with gym, yoga pavilion and tennis courts, there is no doubt that Carlisle Bay presents the perfect balance for business, meetings and pleasure.
